Forms and exports sit at different maturity levels. The form template builder, the submission runtime (filling out and reviewing a form), and corrections on an already-decided submission are all live. Exports are a live reporting surface. Public (unauthenticated) submission links are still planned.

Forms

Visible pages:

Current state:
  • template builder is live at Settings > Forms
  • create templates from scratch or seed them from an existing checklist
  • add fields (short/long text, number, date, dropdown, multi-select, checkbox, multiple choice, signature, file/photo attachment, location picker, pool picker)
  • attach conditional show/hide rules with 16 comparison operators
  • one-click Add explanation field for follow-up questions
  • custom formula mode that references earlier fields as [Field Label]
  • draft/published/archived status with automatic version bumps on edits to published templates
Also live:
  • form-level Location, Pool, and Signature fields — a single checkbox on the template adds the field to the top of the submission form, instead of building it as a regular question, with the pool list narrowing to whichever location was picked
  • runtime form submissions (Custom Forms list and Completed Forms review)
  • file attachments and hand-drawn signature capture at submission time
  • recurring form schedules with a computed due list (Form Schedules and Forms Due)
  • approvals (Approve, Reject, Request changes on submitted forms)
  • corrections on approved/rejected submissions — editing a submission after it’s been decided requires a reason and either applies immediately or waits for review, same pattern as chemical records and maintenance logs
  • completed-form exports
Still planned:
  • public (unauthenticated) submission links
  • notification recipients wired to actually send email (the field exists on a template today; sending isn’t wired up yet)

How to explain this to users

If you are documenting the system internally, describe Forms and Exports as:
  • form templates and submissions: live builder, live runtime, live corrections and approvals
  • exports: live for chemical/compliance/form reporting, with inspection packet exports still planned
