# Compliance and Roadmap

> Current compliance capabilities and the major roadmap phases still planned for AquaOps.

## Compliance position

Compliance is now a prerequisite workstream, not a late-stage reporting add-on.
The product direction assumes the system should be compliance-tight before
broader workflow expansion.

## Implemented compliance work

Already implemented:

* chemistry threshold evaluation with closure-required outputs
* Illinois-specific defaults and closure behavior
* manual closure incidents
* evidence uploads and corrective actions
* scheduled closures kept separate from compliance incidents
* facility status, timeline, and exception-ledger views
* print-friendly compliance pages
* IDPH-oriented reporting support

## Current roadmap shape

### Phase 3 remaining work

* inspection packet builder
* inspector-ready exception reporting
* daily and weekly compliance digest
* compliance attestation and sign-off workflow
* SOP and checklist attachments
* advanced reporting split
* full Phase 3 end-to-end verification

### Later roadmap themes

* broader forms workflows
* offline PWA drafts
* multi-organization account model
* self-service signup and invite flow
* native mobile-app exploration
